As a child, I was always fascinated, not by cartoons but by the making. More than the story, I would keep wondering about the artist’s mind- what he thought while he worked on it.

How many of us think of the steps that would have been involved in the making of any animated film? Sketching to story boarding, giving colours to the characters; along with expressions and dialogues, the visual effects etc.etc- who can think of the extensive work involved. The animated world is a world in itself and Picasso is the place to be in, if you want to explore that world. This is the place, where an artist’s mind opens completely and he can ‘pour’ his heart out. One need not be brilliant in studies to do well in this field. Parents should understand and motivate their children if they have interest in this field.

Today animation is a booming sector in India since the time- consuming and labour -intensive process involving the creation of thousands of images, background and objects is subcontracted to companies in lower wage countries. Countries like India, are able to provide the sheer man power involved to deliver a project within a tight deadline. For example “Puss in Boots”, the latest Hollywood Animation movie has been made by “Dream works” studio in Bangalore. Lot of VFX shots were used in the Shahrukh khan starrer “Ra-One”.

My sincere effort is to bring is global standard of education in Animation to Jaipur. For this, we have adopted international curriculum and have picked up the best faculty members to teach it. Our dream of producing creative & industry-ready animation professionals, has been widely appreciated by the professionals and leaders of the industry after visiting our college campus & interacting with the students & faculty.
